message: Greetings Mindshare,
I am Rishabh Tamhane, the sponsorship coordinator and chief strategist of John Fraser Secondary School’s VEX Robotics Team.
VEX Robotics is a global robotics competition where high school teams build robots that compete in a series of challenges. We do this by leveraging several crucial technologies used at Mindshare, namely computer programming in C and C++ and data/statistical analysis. Our team competes at monthly events in and around the Greater Toronto Area for an opportunity to represent Canada at the VEX Robotics World Championship in Louisville, Kentucky.
However, in recent months the Peel District School Board has severely cut down on funding. Thus, we are reaching out to you to provide support for us in the form of funding for tournament registration and purchase of additional equipment. Currently, we are aiming to raise a total of $700 Canadian Dollars. This is a great opportunity to show your support for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM), as we are trying to promote VEX Robotics within our school and community. In appreciation of your generous contributions, we will provide you a platform to show your support for STEM related activities. We will raise brand awareness by placing your logo on our Sponsor Board. There are 2 tiers of contributions; General Contributions and Premium Contributions. Companies who donate $300 or more will classify as Premium Contributors, and will receive benefits such as prime placement on the Sponsor Board, as well as being acknowledged when our team accepts awards.
Thank you once again for your time, we eagerly await your response. If you so desire, we would be more than willing to provide an in-person presentation on our robot, as well as our promotion model.
Sincerely,
Rishabh Tamhane
Sponsorship Coordinator/Lead Strategist of VEX Robotics at John Fraser Secondary School
