My name is Roxana Rozembaigher and I am working with the Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst at Ryerson University.
We are excited to announce that we have launched a unique job training program in Cybersecurity for Youth in the Peel Region and would love your help in promoting the program to the Youth demographic in Pee Region.
The Accelerated Cybersecurity Training Program is a 28 week, intensive and accelerated cybersecurity training and certification program, designed to give candidates the skills they need to launch careers in cybersecurity. The program also includes ongoing career support that will assist graduates in finding jobs in the cybersecurity sector.
Eligibility: The Peel Region Young Workers in Cyber stream, is open to residents of the Peel region, who are between the ages of 18-30 (inclusive) and who are unemployed, working part time, or underemployed. The Cohort starts in October and applications are currently open on our website. You can view the press release here.
Cost: Free. The Program is supported through the generous partnership of the Government of Canada.
Location: The training is all virtual.
